Christmas was going pretty sucky...  I mean I had just watched The Polar Express... fyi my opinion on that one is it is pretty much the most cliche pointless movie ever... I suppose if I were in a more "spirited" mood I would feel differently about it. My persepective on Christmas is changing. It is misinterpreted and overmarketed... everyone talks about a Christmas spirit. Everybody knows and reiterates the fact that it isn't about gifts... but the feeling... in the words of Billy Gilman, that "fuzzy time of year". Well... it isn't even about that either. I used to appreciate the whole everybody being happy, hot cocoa, candy canes, presents too. But I don't feel anything. I don't even feel the family thing going on. Then I thought about it, and Christmas is not about families necessarily either. Birth of Christ. That's the holiday's direct meaning. So consequently, I have decided that I don't care about the absence of everything else. I have also considered taking up Veganism in the midst of my epiphany, but that's an issue for a seperate occasion.

Sorry I don't really write that much... I like to think of it this way: My life is soooo adventurous, there simply isn't time for writing it all down. ;)

Anyhow, so far weekend= thoroughly enjoyable. Just relaxing and not worrying about hw, although I should be since I have some major work due on Monday, but for now I will take a spa day :)

PS- "Monster-in-Law" is the most flippin' awesome movie ever and you gotta see it! It's hilllllarrrrious!

Hey Gang! Band got a superior as I am sure many are reverberating in their own journals, and that's pretty cool. I have grown upset lately with the way some things have been going with band, but I can honestly say I have never been more proud to be a part of the Wesley Chapel Band than yesterday. My brother and mom came and my brother said he looked around and saw that a bunch of people were there to watch us and they were all paying real close attention. He said,

"Well they must be the bad-asses of the band world!"

LMAO!

That's cool. I think we nailed it. It made alllll the pains and aches of band worth it.... welll most of them ;)

Well anyhow, I have whole crap-load of stuff to do for homework. In drama, we are starting duet scenes and I have to memorize a bunch of stuff but I am really digging this whole acting thing. It's super dooper fun I am a crazy middle-aged woman who has just adopted a kid. She's totally goofy so it's fun. On Friday, I was trying to read the script and I kept coughing and I was coughing so hard that I was like crying and I couldn't finish my lines well, and so I tried to go get a drink. I went to Mr. Gaudet and I am like half-crying and I'm like, "Can (cough) ... I get a drink?" (cough). Mr. Gaudet's response: "Well I'm gonna need a planner and a pass." So I hack my way over to get my planner and I can't find my bathroom passes so I just bring that and he still says no go. So I had to cup water into my mouth from a dirty sink soiled with paint and grime in the back of his room. LOL That was hilarious!

Quote of the Day:

"Shape up or ship out! Or whatever the hell they say..."

From the script "Gingerbread Lady" (yeah, the lady I have to memorize)
